With Gloria

Providing Support for Abortion Patients

In the face of restrictive abortion laws and limited access to reproductive healthcare, Indigo Bird is proud to introduce With Gloria, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at supporting abortion patients who must travel long distances to access care. In states where abortion is illegal or heavily restricted, patients often face daunting challenges in obtaining the healthcare they need, including navigating complex travel logistics and shouldering the financial burden of accommodation expenses.
Project Gloria harnesses the power of our platform to connect abortion patients with compassionate individuals and homeowners willing to offer free or heavily discounted lodging through short-term rental platforms like AirBnB or VRBO. By leveraging any last-minute availability, we ensure that patients who cannot afford hotel accommodations have a safe and supportive place to stay while they undergo medical procedures or consultations.
Our goal is to alleviate the logistical and financial barriers that often stand in the way of accessing abortion care, allowing patients to focus on their health and well-being without the added stress of finding affordable lodging. By providing a network of support and solidarity, Project Gloria empowers individuals to exercise their reproductive rights with dignity and autonomy, regardless of their geographic location or financial means.
If you’re a homeowner or host interested in donating lodging to abortion patients in need, or if you’re a patient seeking support for travel accommodations, please reach out to us through our contact form. Together, we can ensure that every person has access to the healthcare they need, regardless of where they live or their socioeconomic status.

Housing for Venezuelan Migrants in Denver

In response to the growing influx of Venezuelan migrants arriving in Denver, Indigo Bird is launching a special initiative to provide housing support for these families in need. Many Venezuelan migrants are fleeing economic instability and political turmoil in their home country, seeking refuge and opportunities for a better life in the United States. However, upon arrival, they often face challenges in securing affordable and safe housing.
Indigo Bird’s platform serves as a vital link between Venezuelan migrants and compassionate individuals or families willing to open their homes or unused rental properties to provide temporary lodging. Our goal is to ensure that families and children can be housed together in safe, comfortable accommodations while they get settled and begin the process of rebuilding their lives in a new country.
By connecting migrants with available housing options in the Denver area, we alleviate the immediate burden of finding shelter, allowing families to focus on other essential tasks such as finding work, accessing healthcare, and enrolling children in school. This initiative not only provides practical support but also fosters a sense of community and solidarity as locals welcome newcomers with open arms.
If you’re interested in offering housing assistance to Venezuelan migrants in Denver or if you’re a migrant in need of housing support, please reach out to us through our contact form. Together, we can make a difference by providing a safe and welcoming environment for those who need it most.
